I've always wanted to do a name change since I wanted to detach a bit of Kogs from me. Of course having this name is an honour, though it has been iconic enough that it is something that I cannot really take off from me completely. As a result, I just immortalised Kogs as a nod to "Cogs and Gears Factory" server name.
How did I even come up with "Koguma Rin"? Well it is a nod to the two Slice of Life (SOL) anime references: Super Cub and Yuru Camp, respectively; Koguma, and Shima Rin. SOL animes I think are the best of genres out there.
I still love being called Kogs or Koguma Rin. It is who I am after all, that started since 2024. But of course I want to move on and change my title, just to have a change of pace at the internet life.
